Brief storyboard
Audio
Shot 2: Similar to shot 1, there will still be ambient sounds played in the background along with elements of diegetic sound: although it is not shown in this brief storyboard, there is a shot that includes a car driving away, meaning that we must use the sound from the engine starting to show that the car is being used in the scene.
Shot 3: Shot 3 on this storyboard is the first shot of the second scene that takes place in the woods. Because of the change of scene, there must be a clear change in atmosphere shown through the use of audio. There will still be ambient sound played in the background, however, it will be different to the ambience played in the first scene due to the second scene being recorded outdoors. in contrast to the indoor ambience, the ambience in scene 2 will contain sounds of trees and wind blowing, and some quiet sounds of birds chirping. As the detectives walk to the scene, there will be sounds to show them stepping on leaves.
Shot 4: Since shot 4 is shown so briefly in this storyboard, there may be some changes and additions to the audio when recording / editing. For now, it can be mentioned that there will be audio tracks played to show the transition between past and present - During the flashback, there will be a quiet ringing sound.
Shot 5: Similar to shot 4, the shot has been drawn very briefly and it is hard to establish what final sounds will be included in this shot. Depending on the final weapon choice, different sounds will need to be incorporated, e.g. a gun cocking sound, swinging bat sounds, etc.
